Enchanting Seine Cruise Itinerary -

Day 1 London – Paris

We journey aboard Eurostar from London St Pancras International to Paris and make our way to the ship. Settle into your cabin, after which the crew will be introduced to you during a welcome cocktail.

Day 2 La Roche-Guyon

Wake up this morning in La Roche-Guyon, where you can join our optional excursion to La Roche-Guyon Castle, nestled in the chalk cliffs close to the Seine. Spend a relaxing afternoon cruising along the Seine towards the estuary.

Day 3 Le Havre

This morning the ship berths in the seaport of Le Havre on the English Channel estuary. Today there is a full day excursion along the magnificent Alabaster coast. Our first visit is to the historic seaside resort of Étretat, known for its striking chalk cliffs. Next we will visit the historic town of Fécamp with its picturesque harbour, where you will visit the fishing boat and fishing museum and the Palais Benedictine, where the world famous herb liqueur Benedictine is produced. Lunch is also included in this excursion. This evening the ship sails upstream along the Seine.

Day 4 Caudebec-en-Caux – Rouen

This morning we reach Caudebec-en-Caux. Join our optional coach tour to Honfleur and its fishing port, browsing the narrow picturesque streets with their old houses, the salt lofts and the church of Saint Catherine. During lunch we cast off and cruise to Rouen arriving late afternoon. We have an optional tour of this historic capital of Normandy and scene of the martyrdom of Joan of Arc. You have some free time to wander among the elegant spires, the twisting lanes of the medieval quarter and the gothic cathedral, which rises high above the skyline.

Day 5 Les Andelys – Vernon

After breakfast we have free time to explore the historic little town of Les Andelys, which is dominated by the mighty chateau Gailard. In the afternoon we have an optional excursion to the small village of Giverny – home to perhaps the most famous of French impressionists, Claude Monet, where he lived for over 40 years. There are two parts to Monet’s garden which inspired many of his great works – the Clos Normand, a flower garden in front of the house, which is filled with flower beds and ornamental trees, and a Japanese inspired water garden opposite. This evening we continue cruising to Conflans.

Day 6 Conflans – Paris

After breakfast join our optional excursion takes us to Chantilly Castle, with its park considered one of the most famous baroque gardens in France. This afternoon the MS Swiss Ruby cruises towards Paris passing some of Paris’s most sticking and illuminated attractions.

Day 7 Paris

Today is entirely devoted to Paris, starting with an optional tour of the Chateau of Versailles, which is among the most famous and prestigious monuments of world heritage and constitutes the most beautiful and most complete work of French art of the 18th century lunch is served on board our ship. Why not join an optional half day guided tour exploring the mythical places of the city, such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées.

Day 8 Paris – London

We leave the ship in the morning and make our way to the railway station to board Eurostar for the return journey to London.
